Engine & Gearbox Experts delivers to addresses within South Africa, including all major city centers and outlying areas. We utilize trusted courier and freight partners (such as The Courier Guy, Time Freight, and others) to ensure your heavy parts arrive safely.

Please Note: We do not ship to P.O. Boxes due to the size and weight of our products. A physical street address is required.

Processing & Handling Time

Before an engine or gearbox leaves our facility, it undergoes a final quality check and cleaning process.

  • Order Cut-off Time Orders placed and paid for before 12:00 PM are processed the same day.
  • Handling Time (1-3 Business Days) Due to the nature of our products, we require time to crate, palletize, and strap the items securely to prevent damage during transit.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated based on the weight, dimensions, and destination of the items in your order.

  • Small Parts: Standard courier rates apply.
  • Engines & Gearboxes: These ship via heavy freight. The exact cost will be displayed at checkout or provided in your pro-forma invoice.
  • Free Shipping: Occasionally available for specific promotions or local Cape Town deliveries.

Damages & Inspection

Please inspect your order immediately upon receipt.

Our engines are shipped in steel frames or pallets. If the packaging appears damaged, crushed, or leaking fluid when the courier arrives:

  1. Do not accept the shipment without noting "DAMAGED" on the waybill/POD.
  2. Take photos of the damage immediately.
  3. Contact us within 24 hours at 📧 info@enginegearboxexperts.co.za.

We are not liable for damages reported after the courier has left if the waybill was signed as "Received in Good Order."

International / Cross-Border Shipping

We supply engines to Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, and Mozambique. International customers must arrange their own transport or contact us for a custom export quote. All customs duties and taxes are the responsibility of the customer.
